Volunteer Officials
Flag & Fire Marshalling.
We are always looking for more volunteer flag and fire marshals.
If you have previous experience, we'll slot you right in to our team.
If you have no previous experience, but are willing to learn, we'll pair you up with an appropriately qualified and experienced marshal to give you on-the-job training.
And, during 2009, at each round, every volunteer official goes in the draw to win a set of Kumho road tyres - it's our and Kumho's way of saying thanks for all the hard work.
Scrutineering.
We are always looking for more volunteer scrutineers.
If you have previous experience, we'll slot you right in to our team.
If you have no previous experience, but are willing to learn, we'll pair you up with an appropriately qualified and experienced scrutineer to give you on-the-job training.

Administrative Assistance.
The Independent Race Series operates on a tight budget in order to keep costs to the competitor as low as possible. Any little bit of help from our competitor base helps us to keep those costs low.
If you are in a position to provide some kind of administrative assistance, we'd be happy to have you. Possible jobs include:
- Calculating pointscores,
- Document checking at the beginning of each round (checking entry forms, licences, and issuing scrutineering paperwork),
- Distributing timesheets to competitors,
- Distributing bulletins to competitors,
- Allocating garages to competitors,
- Assisting with the writing of event schedules,
- And so on.
